Tepo was designed in response to a competition prompt to create an object that both reflects Mexico and improves peoples lives. The result was an object that is utilitarian, but also has a distinct presence. Part creature and part vessel, Tepo has a spirit of its own. Influences range from the ancient ceramics of the Maya to the texture of corn.

Work completed for this project includes ideation, design, and scripting of the surface pattern.
